Super Visa

A foreign national who is either a parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident is eligible to apply for the parent and grandparent Super Visa.

A super visa is typically issued to a foreign national for a period of 10 years, allowing the visa holder to enter and exit Canada multiple times.

It also allows the foreign national to remain in Canada for up to a maximum of five years at a time and can apply for a two years extension by the end of the five year period.
